Premier size, feint ruled Smythson Featherweight Notebook with 'Smythson' engraved gold slide closure.
• Smythson watermarked pale blue Featherweight paper with 192 leaves of feint ruled lines. Featherweight paper is half the thickness and weight (50 grams per square metre) of normal paper so a great many pages can be contained in a very slim, light book. Normally such thin paper is not appropriate for use with a fountain pen but Featherweight paper is tested to ensure that it is strong and opaque enough to be used with fountain pens without bleed.
• Bound in emerald grained lambskin leather.
• The emerald leather is complimented by gold edged leaves and gold-blocking.
• Matching satin ribbon marker.
• The book cover can be gold-stamped with a name or initials.
• Presented in a tissue-lined Nile Blue gift box.
