Not every great artwork starts in a studio – more often it's a garden bench, a sunny beach, or the kitchen table, wherever inspiration happens to strike. Our new Artist Folio is designed for those moments: unzip it, and everything you need is laid out and ready, one case turning any setting into an instant studio – no easel required.

Housed in a zip-around case crafted from our signature Panama leather, the Folio is compact and portable. Inside, it’s fully equipped with everything you could need to create your masterpiece: an A5 watercolour pad, a watercolour set complete with an ingenious integrated water flask, a paintbrush, and a Smythson HB pencil topped with an eraser – all neatly stowed and secured with internal pockets and poppers.

For the paints and paintbrush, we partnered with Maison Charvin – a family-run business founded on the Côte d'Azur in 1830. Its earliest formulas supplied some of the greatest painters of the day, such as Cézanne and Bonnard, and today the brand remains one of the most highly regarded names in fine art colour.

Alongside the Folio, we're introducing two new additions to our titled notebook edit, both bound in Panama leather. The Masterpiece Chelsea is as suited to a sudden stroke of genius as it is to a shopping list, while the smaller Blank Canvas Panama offers a blank page for a doodle, a to-do list, or the first sketch of something bigger.
