Throughout the evening, guests explored the new store, enjoyed a glass of champagne served by Veuve Clicquot, and Grace personally signed their diaries. It was a fitting celebration of her legendary career, and among those joining us to mark the occasion were Karen Elson, Lily Nova, Derek Blasberg, Sally Singer, Tonne Goodman, and Didier Malige.

For the last three decades, a Smythson diary has been a constant companion in Grace’s life at the centre of the industry, accompanying her through fittings, flights, and front rows. To mark its thirtieth anniversary, Grace brought her signature illustration style to the cover – a playful reimagining of the legendary front row populated by an irreverent coterie of animals instead of editors. Inside, alongside our classic content from the four fashion capitals, the special edition features her personal handwritten favourites, from the shops she never misses to the restaurants she always returns to.
