How Klarna Works

After selecting Klarna at checkout, you will be asked to enter or confirm your details. Klarna will display the applicable payment terms and payment schedule before you complete your purchase.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and meet Klarna’s eligibility requirements. Each transaction is subject to approval by Klarna, and Smythson is unable to influence whether Klarna is available or a transaction is approved.

If Klarna is not displayed at checkout or your transaction is not approved, please select another payment method.

Managing Your Payments

Klarna will send you confirmation and payment information after your order has been placed. You can view and manage your payments through the Klarna app or by signing in to your Klarna account.

Please ensure that the contact information entered at checkout is correct so that you receive all relevant payment communications.

Delivery

Orders paid for using Klarna are subject to our standard delivery terms. Selecting Klarna will not affect the processing or delivery time of your order.

Returns and Refunds

Our standard Returns Policy applies to orders paid for using Klarna.

Please follow Smythson’s usual returns process. You can also report your return through your Klarna account or the Klarna app. Once your return has been received and processed by Smythson, Klarna will update your payment plan or arrange any refund due.

Please continue to follow the payment instructions provided by Klarna unless Klarna confirms that your payments have been paused or adjusted.
