We are working closely with our shipping partner DHL to offer the best and safest delivery services we can. We encourage our customers to use DHL’s On Demand Delivery (ODD) services ondemand.dhl.com. Furthermore, DHL couriers are now offering a non-contact alternative to any customer who does not wish to sign via the scanner screen. We can guarantee that we are following all possible health and safety precautions during this time.
UK orders will be delivered within 5 working days for non-personalised orders. For orders with personalisation, please allow an additional 2 working days. For full details regarding delivery turn times to all destinations, please see our delivery information.

Smythson uses a number of carefully selected carriers. To ensure the safe delivery of your order, all Smythson deliveries require a signature upon receipt. For further assistance, please contact Customer Services.
Standard shipping is complimentary for all orders within the UK. For orders outside of the UK, shipping is always complimentary for purchases over $400. For all of our delivery options, please see our Delivery page.
The courier should have left a delivery slip with a tracking number on it. Please telephone the number on the slip, quoting your tracking number to reschedule your delivery. For any further enquiries, please contact Customer Services.
Each and every item is gift wrapped in our tissue-lined Nile Blue box and tied with navy grosgrain ribbon.We include a blank Smythson card for you to write a gift message, or we can add a message for you; just select 'add gift message' in your basket.For further assistance, please contact Customer Services.
As COVID-19 escalates, we have had to make amendments to our return policy, and will not longer be able to offer a complimentary return service until further notice.
We are happy to accept returns from customers from all over the world in line with the above returns policy. Items must be returned within 28 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for any postage, custom and duties charges that your return may incur.

A guarantee is offered for the Smythson Yard-o-Lead pens and pencils. For all other products there is a comprehensive repair service for all Smythson products. Though we may not be able to repair everything, we would be delighted to assess any damage and advise you accordingly. We do not offer guarantees for any of our products.
