Merchandise in a new and saleable condition may be returned for exchange or refund within 14 days of purchase. Items must be accompanied by the original documentation. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please ensure that all Smythson.com returns sent to our Customer Service dept are handled by an insured carrier. Smythson cannot be held liable for any returned items that fail to arrive. Smythson will not be liable for any customs or duties charges incurred when returning goods.
Any goods that are returned outside of the return period, damaged or worn or sent without the original documentation will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.
Please be advised that we are not able to accept any form of refund or exchange for personalised stationery or personalised leather products.
Gift recipients are entitled to a merchandise exchange or online gift card. Exchanges will only be offered, at the current retail price, for products in perfect condition, with the original packaging, for non-discontinued collections or lines.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

To make a return from outside the UK:
- Fill out the delivery form provided with your items.
- Re-package the item/s you’d like to return.
